Restaurant and Kitchen Managers will take responsibility for the following duties on a regular basis:
- Highly responsible person
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy.
- Maintain safety and food quality standards
- Keep customer and team happy
- Handling complaints
- Keeping track of employees’ hours
- Some previous restaurants experience
- Food Manager and/or Food Handler Certificate is required
- Help cooks and other kitchen staff prepare ingredients e.g. slicing and dicing vegetables
- Ensure that none of the order has been missed
- Experience with long shifts
- Financial literacy
- Ability to keep daily, weekly inventory filled and organized
- Bilingual will be more advantage
- Understanding of local regulations
- Available to work a flexible schedule (e.g. days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to operate POS (point of sale) system, back-of-house systems, and the restaurant system
- Ordering food and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
- Ensure that business run in full capacity under budget control
- Able to handle many tasks at once and be a problem solver
- Active and enthusiastic
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong coordination
- Good decision making
